What is an XML Sitemap?

An XML sitemap is a file that lists every important page on your website and tells search engines — Google, Bing, and others — exactly where to find them, when they were last updated, and how often they change.

Without a sitemap, search engine bots must discover your pages purely by crawling links. On large, new, or poorly interlinked sites, critical pages get missed entirely — meaning they never rank.

This tool generates six sitemap formats used by real SEO professionals: standard XML, Image, Video, News, HTML, and Sitemap Index files — the same types produced by premium tools like Screaming Frog and Yoast.

How to Use This Tool

1
Choose a Sitemap Type
Pick XML for standard pages, Image for photo-heavy sites, Video for YouTube alternatives, News for publishers, HTML for human visitors, or Index when you have 50,000+ URLs.
2
Enter Your Domain & URLs
Add your base domain (e.g. https://example.com), then add URLs one by one or bulk-import a list by pasting them.
3
Configure Settings
Enable auto-priority (recommended), set changefreq, adjust crawl depth, and add exclusion patterns for URLs you don’t want indexed (e.g. /cart/, ?s=).
4
Generate & Download
Click Generate Sitemap. Review the output, switch tabs if multiple files were created, then download the .xml file and upload it to your site’s root folder.
5
Update robots.txt & Submit
Copy the robots.txt snippet from the panel below the output and add it to your robots.txt. Then submit your sitemap URL in Google Search Console.
