Modern Text to Speech Tool

How to Use

1. Type or paste your text — Enter any text you want to hear in the text box. The character count updates live in the top-right corner of the text area.
2. Select your Voice & Language — Use the Browser speech synthesis dropdown to choose your preferred voice and language (e.g. Google Deutsch (de-DE), Google US English, etc.). The voices available depend on your browser and operating system.
3. Adjust Speed — Use the Speed slider to make the voice speak faster or slower. The default value is 1 (normal speed). Lower values slow it down; higher values speed it up.
4. Adjust Pitch — Use the Pitch slider to raise or lower the tone of the voice. Default is 1. Higher values give a higher-pitched voice; lower values give a deeper tone.
5. Click Speak — Press the Speak button to start playback. The tool uses your browser’s built-in speech synthesis — no internet connection needed after the page loads.
6. Pause & Resume — Click Pause to temporarily stop playback, and Resume to continue from where it left off.
7. Stop — Click Stop to end playback completely. You can then edit the text and click Speak again.
